Welcome to the Streetfood Festival Original Tour 2026!
Switzerland tastes the world
As a free event, we will be hosting 19 festivals in 17 cities across Switzerland.
After the big anniversary year of 2025, the Streetfood Festival Original Tour 2026 enters its eleventh season and stops in 20 cities in Switzerland - more than ever before. New on the tour is Zug, where the food trucks make guest appearances on the lakeside promenade and invite visitors on a culinary journey around the world.
Since the first festival in Olten in 2015, the tour has become a real crowd-puller: Over 140 festivals have been carried out so far, and More than 3.15 million visitors have already enjoyed the street food experience.
Also applies in 2026: Free admission, variety guaranteed. At each location, around 45 food stands from all over the world, accompanied by Theme bars, one Live stage, Kinderland and numerous Street artists. The widely available Tasting portions invite you to discover new flavours and feast your way around the world - freshly prepared, sustainable and with great attention to detail.
The Streetfood Festival has long been an integral part of the Swiss event landscape. It combines enjoyment, culture and encounters in a unique atmosphere with atmospheric lighting, diverse seating and weather-protected areas - a festival for all generations.
From Scaffolding and food waste and used frying oil will be sent to 11 Locations for the fourth time in a row Biogas produced - in cooperation with the Swiss gas industry, regional energy suppliers and biogas plants. The correct separation of biowaste conserves resources, saves energy and strengthens the sustainable, regional energy supply.
This commitment contributes to the sustainability of the street food festivals.

Our goal is to celebrate street food at the highest level and to inspire all participants and visitors. Fast food is not street food!
